This was a first for me. Troy and Darcie are a very down to earth young couple who are just perfect for each other.

When I first met these guys, I was blown away by just how organised Darcie was for the big day. The usual things I ask brides about, well, she was already all over it!

Every little detail was planned so well. Then the restrictions hit and like all of our weddings, this one was postponed as well. I felt really bad for these guys, like all of the other couples that we have had to either cancel or postpone.

Then a couple of weeks ago, Skye (Darcies sister in law) called me to tell me they were getting married anyway and to see if I could come to capture some images to mark the day for them.

It was certainly an unusual way to see a wedding. Only 5 people there. After the ceremony, I entered and we reenacted parts of the ceremony for some photos.

With no guests onsite, these guys embraced technology and there was plenty of people watching from the comfort of their own homes.
